This little gadget is fantastic! It makes tofu prep a joy instead of a messy chore. It's small, easy to clean, well designed, and cute! I love it!
Actually this purchase is for a gift, I have already one and because it is easy to use and do wonder, i thought I should spread the love :)
It looks like it will be very useful, and generally is sturdily made. However, the first time I tried to use it, the chandle on one side came off. Maybe the block of tofu I was pressing was too large or too dense, but it was very tricky to look silicon band over the retainer, and the compression handle just popped out of its sockets as I tried to click it into place. It was easy enough to get it back, though, and the second try was successful. I managed to extract plenty of liquid out of the tofu, and it's easy to drain. I like that I can store the whole press, complete with tofu, in the fridge.
I presume it’s as good as I thought but bought it as a present and it hasn’t been given away yet. So I can’t say how well it will perform. Quich

i now have two of these--they really work to squeeze the water out of extra-firm tofu. i like to leave it in the fridge overnight. easy to use and efficient.

Preparation of tofu for cold salads is made easy and fast with this gadget. After clarifying the tofu in simmering water, crumbled tofu can be loaded in the perforated compartment, rinsed and squeezed without the use of bolting cloth or paper towel. The resultant semi-dry tofu crumbles can then be combined with miso for shira-ae, hard-cooked eggs for egg-tofu salad, cheese, meat or fish. A boon to tofu fans, this is a real handy and inexpensive investment.
There are sooooo many presses out there, makes it overwhelming and really hard to pick one. I looked for 1) ease of use 2) ease of cleaning 3) how it worked and 4) what kind of reviews.For me this one won. Yep, a bit more expensive but it has not disappointed us yet!It's made well, easy to use, easy to clean and best of all....it what is says it supposed to do.We have been pressing tofu over night to get it compact and WOW, it did a great job.

Does a very good job on the tofu and at the same time helps build strength in your hands if you use it often enough.
Easy to use. I had never cooked tofu before and decided to give it a try. Researched it and found the water had to be pressed out of it. Ordered this tofu press and was very pleased with it. Heavy duty plastic that will probably last a very long time.
Love this tofu press at a fair price. IMHO, works better than a certain expensive one offered. Would definitely recommend to others.
Love the tofu press. I use it very often and it presses the tofu very effectively and doesn't take that long. It upped my tofu game for sure. I use the press first and cut them up and pop them in air fryer, the crispiest tofu ever. only thing I didn't like was one of the strip got half torn, so definitely using it until it breaks.
This is the best tofu press. Easy to use. Easy to clean. I now own three! If you make a lot of tofu recipes, you’ll love this!!
